2x+3y=5

I have to turn the equation into "y=" form, but I keep getting a fraction

Start with given equation
Subtract 2x from both sides
Divide both sides by 3
Split up the fraction
Rearrange the equation into slope-intercept form.
So you should end up with a fraction of -2/3 for your slope and 5/3 for your y-intercept. Is that what you were trying to do? Hope this helps.
