You can't really solve this. I think the directions are probably to graph this. However, they may be asking for the slope and/or y-intercept. What do the directions say?
This is an equation of a line in slope intercept form: , m=slope and (0,b)=y-intercept.
This line has a slope of m=1/3 and a y-intercept of (0,3)
If they don't have a specific method in mind for graphing, (there are 3 methods they usually ask for.) then plot the y-intercept (0,3)
You need two points to graph a line unless your teacher wants more. Let x = something divisible by 3, like -3. You can pick something else, like 3 or 6. Picking something divisible by 3 lets you avoid fractional outcomes for y.
Plot (-3,1)
