8Y+4X=24, 8Y=-4X+24, Y=-4X/8+24/8, Y=-X/2+3
5Y+10X=30, 5Y=-10X+30, Y=-10X/5+30/5, Y=-2X+6
6Y+12X=24, 6Y=-12X+24, Y=-12X/6+24/6, Y=-2X+4
7Y+7X=28,7Y=-7X+28,Y=-7X/7+28/7, Y=-X+4

Solve for x- and y-intercepts. Standard form is
To find the x-intercept, let y = 0 and solve for x.
To find the y-intercept, let x = 0 and solve for y.
1)
Let x = 0.

Divide both sides by 8.
This the y-intercept.
Let y = 0.

Divide both sides by 4.
This the x-intercept.

2)
Let x = 0.
Simplify.
Divide both sides by 5.
Ths the y-intercept.
Let y = 0.
Simplify.
Divide both sides by 10.
This is the x-intercept.

You should get the idea by now so try the others on your own...if you still have trouble with them, please repost.

We are to use the standard form in solving x & y intercept. Thanks....

8y+4x=24
Let x=0 then y=3 =====the y intercept
Let y=0 then x=6 =====the x intercept
-------

5y+10x=30
Let x=0 then y=6 =====the y intercept
Let y=0 then x=3 =====the x intercept
--------

6y+12x=24
Let x=0 then y=4 =====the y intercept
Let y=0 then x=2 =====the x intercept
===========

7y+7x=28.
Let x=0 then y=4 =====the y intercept
Let y=0 then x=4 =====the x-intercept
