solve the systems of equations 2x+4y=-2, 2x-y=4

2x+4y=-2
2x -y= 4
------------ Subtract
5y = -6
y = -6/5
-------------
2x -y= 4
2x + 6/5 = 4
2x = 14/5
x = 7/5
