       2y = 8     divide both sides by 2

        y = 4  



2x+2y=4 , x = 0

 2(0) + 2y = 4

        2y = 4   divide both sides by 2

         y = 2 



2x+2y=4, x = 2

 2(2) + 2y = 4

  4  + 2y = 4

       2y = 4 - 4

       2y = 0

        y = 0  



Plot the points (-2, 4), (0, 2), (2, 0)

Divide thru by 2 to get:

x+y=2

Solve for y:

y=2-x

Let x=0, then y=2, giving you point (0,2)

Let x=1, then y=1, giving you point (1,1)

Let x=2, then y=0, giving you point (2,0)
