Graph the equation just like graphing any other linear equation in slope-intercept form. The y-coordinate of the y-intercept is the fraction of the bottle still containing water at time 0 (x = 0), that is, when the bottle is full. The x-coordinate of the x-intercept is the time when the bottle has 0% of the water left in it, i.e., when the bottle is empty. The slope is the rate at which the water is leaking from the bottle. Set y = 0.25 and then solve for x.
