Draw any line L1 with slope-1
What is the slope of any line perpindicular to L1 Draw any line L2 perpendicular tp L1
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Draw any line L1 with slope-1
slope = [change in y]/[change in x}] = -1/1
This means " as x increases 1, y decreases 1".
Put your pencil at (0,0); move 1 to the right and 1 down to plot a second point.
Draw the line through (0,0) and (1,-1); that is L1.
------
The line perpendicular to L1 has a slope of +1.
This means "as y increases one, x increases 1".
Put your pencil at (0,0); move 1 to the right and 1 up to plot a second point.
Draw the line through (0,0) to (1,1); that is the perpendicular line.
