You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First of all, here is the graph:
+graph%28+400%2C+400%2C+-3%2C+7%2C+-3%2C+7%2C+-5x+%2B+4+%29+
The equation +y+=+-5x+%2B+4+ is in the slope-intercept
form, which is the best form for graphing.
------------------------------------
The +-5+ tells you that the slope is negative,
which means the line slopes from upper left
to lower right.
-----------------
To find points on the line, pick a number for +x+
and find out what +y+ is
I'll say +x+=+0+
+y+=+-5%2A0+%2B+4+
+y+=+4+
This gives you the point ( 0,4 ), which
you can see on the graph
---------------------
I can pick a number for +y+ and find x also
I'll say +y+=+0+
+0+=+-5x+%2B+4+
+5x+=+4+
+x+=+4%2F5+
So, you have the point ( 4/5,0 ). You can see this point on the line, too
( by estimating ).
Hope this helps

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=-5x+4
+graph%28+300%2C+200%2C+-6%2C+5%2C+-10%2C+10%2C-5x+%2B4%29+
Y=mX+b WHERE m=SLOPE & b=THE Y INTERCEPT.
SETTING Y=0 YOU HAVE THE X INTERCEPT.
0=-5X+4
5X=4
X=4/5
X=0.8 ANS.
NOW DRAW A LINE THROUGH THESE 2 POINTS:
X=0.8 & Y=4.
