Your question is
y=2x-1 - equation (1)
2x+y=3 - equation (2)
Rearrange equ (1)to form
y=2x-1 ---> 2x-y-1=0 ----> 2x-y=1 - equation (3)
Add (2) and (3)
4x=4 ---> x=1
Put x=1 in equ (2)
2*1+y=3
y=3-2
y=1
