3. Solve: (1/2)x^2 + (3/8)x = 2
4. Solve: (x + 3)^3/2 = 8

1. Use parentheses when needed.
Rationalize by multiplying numerator and denominator times the conjugate.
(2-3i)/(1-2i)=

2. FOIL and simplify.


3. Eliminate denominator by multiplying both sides of the equal sign times 8.

4. (x + 3)^(3/2) = 8 unfortunately shows as
with the top of the exponent chopped off (at least on my screen), so I'll improvise
(x + 3)^(3/2) = --> (x + 3)^(3/2) =
