Question 715314: i need to graph y=-3/2x-3 using the y=mx+b formula
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
i need to graph y=-3/2x-3
---
If x = 0, y = -3 is the y-intercept
slope = (change in y)/(change in x) = -3/2
-----
Draw a point at (0,-3), the y-intercept.
-----
Following the slope, move your point 2 to the right to (2,-3)
the down 3 to (2,-6).
Draw a point at (2,-6).
Draw a line thru those 2 points.
That is the graph you want.
