Question 714561: How do you solve this using substitution?
y = 2x + 9
y = x + 6

Answer by Dionysus10474(5)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Because y is equal to y you get:
2x + 9 = x + 6
take x to the left
x + 9 = 6
take the 9 to the right
x = 6 - 9
and voila
x = -3
