x=0, if this is a line in two dimensions, coordinate system, is the y-axis. Maybe what tricks you about this is that the slope for a vertical line does not exist.
x=0 contains the point, (0,0), the origin. What other vertical line contains the point, (1,-1)? VERTICAL LINE! x=1, and y=everynumber. The line you want also contains the point, (1,33), and (1,-2.5), and (1,14*sqrt(17))... and on like that.
The line you want, parallel to x=0 and containing (1,-1) is the line x=1.
