write equation in standard form?
y+9=-3(x-2)
The standard form of an equation of a line is , where A, B, and C are integers. Some books and teachers also require that A be positive:
y+9=-3(x-2)
y+9=-3x-3(-2)
y+9=-3x+6
3x+y+9=3x-3x+6
3x+y+9=6
3x+y+9-9=6-9
