Please help me find the slope, midpoint, and distance equation of a line between the points (2,7) and (4,1)
**
slope=∆y/∆x
=(7-1)/(2-4)
=6/-2
=-3
..
midpoint=[(x1+x2)/2],[(y1+y2)/2]
=[(6/2),8/2]
=(3,4)
..
distance=√[(x1-x2)^2+(y1-y2)^2]
=√[(2-4)^2+(7-1)^2]
=√[4+36]
=√40
