Question 70231: find slope and y-intercept
y = 5x- 4
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
using the general form of the slope-intercept equation
y=mx+b
Where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept. So in this case m=5 and b=-4, or in other words the slope is 5 and the y-intercept is (0,-4) (since x=0 for all y-intercepts).
