The inequality sign does NOT have a line under it. So the line isn't solid, so it must be dashed.

The origin is not in the solution set because if you plug in (0,0) you get

-3x + y > 6

-3(0) + 0 > 6

0 + 0 > 6

0 > 6

Which is false. So that shows why (0,0) is not in the solution set. So the origin is not in the shaded region.

That points us to the answer of choice C
