Question 694989: The sides of a triangle are in the ratio 3:4:5. What is the length of each side if the perimeter of the triangle is 90cm?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x+4x+5x = 90
12x = 90
x = 90/12
x = 15/2
3x = 3(15/2) = 45/2 = 22.5
4x = 4(15/2) = 60/2 = 30
5x = 5(15/2) = 75/2 = 37.5
So the three sides are: 22.5 cm, 30 cm, 37.5 cm
