2X-4Y=7 NOW MULTIPLY THE SECOND EQUATION BY 2 & ADD.
8X+4Y=18

10X=25
X=25/10
X=2.5 ANSWER. NOW SUBSTITUTE 2.5 FOR X & SOLVE FOR Y
4*2.5+2Y=9
10+2Y=9
2Y=9-10
2Y=-1
Y=-1/2 ANSWER
