Write the equation of the line passing through (4,4) and (4,2).
This is a special case. Notice that the x values for both points are 4. If me were to plot the two points and connect them, we would have a vertical line going through x=4. The equation of a vertical line going through x=4 is:
Note the other special case would be if both the y's were the same, like (4,4) and (2,4), then the equation would be y=4.
