Question 683741: Find the slope of line parallel to the line that passes through the points
(4,0 ) and 3.8, 2)

When two points are known find the slope with (difference in y)/(difference in x).

(2-0)/(3.8-4) = 2/-.2 = -10.

Parallel lines have the same slope. So the slope of the parallel line is -10.
