Find the equation of the line with the slope of 1/2 containing the point (2, -4) in slope intercept form.
I did y=1/2(2)+b
y=1+b
-4=1+b
-1 -1

-5=b
y=1/2x-5
however in the review my teacher is showing the answer as: y=1/2x+5
Did she do a typo or am I doing something wron?
