Question 672831: Graphing functions. All of them are based off of the basic slope equation: y = mx +b
y = -3/4x + 4

y = 3x - 5

Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Do it like this one:
-----------
Solving systems of equations by graphing
Y=3x-1
Y=5-1/2x
-----------
The 2 equations are linear, so the graph is a straight line.
You need 2 points.
Pick 2 values for x, find y.
Plot the 2 points.
Draw a line thru them
-------------
The intersection of the lines is the solution of the system.
