Okay, so lately I've been having trouble in Algebra. We're doing slopes and graphing them, and I get the basics. It's the more complicated stuff I get confused on.
y = mx+b
1.) y = x^2 - 1
2.) y = 5/2x - 3
3.) 2y = 4x + 8
4.) y = 2x^2 - 6

If you could please explain how to tackle these problems and do them successfully, I'd be really happy!

What is it you want to do with these equations.
To graph you can always plot points.
