Hi,

Using the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b

  where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.

3x + 2y = -20   Or  y = (-3/2)x - 10  

Line parallel has same slope...

New Line

 y = (-3/2)x + b   || Using Pt(-24,12) to solve for b



   48 = b

 y = (-3/2)x + 48
