Question 669270: I am trying to find the ordered pairs for the linear equation x=6-y
Answer by ReadingBoosters(3246)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
in slope - intercept form,
y = -x + 6
...
Now choose an x value and solve for y and vice versa.
x = 0
y = 0 + 6 = 6
(0, 6)
...
x = 2
y = -2 + 6 = 4
(2, 4)
...
x = -1
y = -(-1) + 6 = 7
(-1, 7)
...
and so on
