= 3y*y - 3y*3 - 13*y + 13*3
= 3y^2 - 9y - 13y + 39
= 3y^2 - 22y + 39

here we use the F.O.I.L. method where that stands for First Outside Inside Last.

First -> 3y(y)
Outside -> -3y(3)
Inside -> -13(y)
Last -> 13(3)

(3y - 13)(y - 3)
=3y(y)-3y(3)-13(y)+13(3)
=3y^2-9y-13y+39
=3y^2-22y+29
