Question 65290: Hi! Could someone graph y=3x for me?
Thanks
Answer by funmath(2933) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=3x
This is a line, unless your teacher specifies otherwise, you only need two points to graph a line.
Let x=0 and solve for y:
y=3(0)
y=0
Plot (0,0)
Now let x=1 and solve for y:
y=3(1)
y=3
Plot (1,3)
Connect the points and you have a line that looks like:
Happy Calculating!!!
