Hi, my name is Aaron I am in 10th grade and im in honors trig/pre-calc.
Start by finding the slope, let start by writing it in point slope form, (Y2-Y1)=m(X2-X1). You will use this form and similar forms more and more as you advance in math, such as with conics, abs-value graphs, and square root graphs. so it helps to start using it now. Although this problem can just as easily be completed using slope-int form
Start by finding two point where the line passes through. (0,50),(4,150)
plug these points into the equation, to solve for m
(150-50)=m(4-0)
100=4m
m=25
Now plug m, back into point slope form and pick any of the two points
(150-y)=25(4-x)
now expand to put it in standard form.
150-y=100-25x
25x-y=-50
