Question 647481: what is the y-intercept of -10x-1/2y=5?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Plug in x = 0 and solve for y
-10x-1/2y=5
-10(0)-1/2y=5
0-1/2y=5
-1/2y=5
-y=5*2
-y=10
y = -10
So the y-intercept is (0, -10)
