i need help with -9+x=5x-7 it said to subtract x but i'm not sure how to do it.
--------
-9+x-x = 5x-x-7
----
-9 = 4x-7
---
Add 7 to both sides of the equation:
-9+7 = 4x-7+7
---
-2 = 4x
---
Divide both sides by 4 to get:
x = -1/2
