Those equations are linear equations.
Their graphs are straight lines.
To graph a straight line you only need to locate 2 points.
Sometimes you do not even need to rearrange the equation to figure out 2 points for the line.
In this case, I would rearrange.
--> (adding to both sides of the equal sign)

Now we need 2 points from that line.
makes calculations easy and give us for point (0,-5)
results in --> --> for point (2,3)
We can plot the points and then connect them with a line:

Similarly, for the other line,

Now we divide both sides by 2

For the point, we can use

Then we add to the graph the new points and connect them with a second line:

Sometimes from the graph you can solve the system of equations.
