Question 629781: Write point-slope form of the line to satisfy the given conditions. Then use the point -slope form of the equation to write the slope intercept form of the equation?
passing through (4,12) and (6,18)
Can some one help with this problem????
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
use the point -slope form of the equation to write the slope intercept form of the equation?
passing through (4,12) and (6,18)
----
Form: y-y1 = m(x-x1)
----
m = (18-12)/6-4) = 6/2 = 3
---
Let x1 be 4 and y1 be 12
Then y - 12 = 3(x-4)
y = 3x-12+12
y = 3x
