Finding the y-intercept  (, _)  

 -4y = 14

 y = -14/4 = -7/2   |||the y-intercept  (, -7/2) 



Finding the x-intercept  ( _, )   

 7x -4· = 14

     x = 2     ||   the x-intercept is (2 , ) 

Plot (0,-7/2) and (2,0) and connect with a Line
