Question 623158: Find the y coordinate of the points (-1), (2), (3)
=-x-4 it also wants me to graph this if I can figure out the first part of this surely I can graph it??? I dont understand what this problem even means to attempt working it...Someone please help me make since of this. Thank you very much for taking time to help a lost soul...Thanks

Answer by fcabanski(1391)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If y = x-4 then substitute the given x values to find the corresponding y values.

-1: y = -1 - 4 = -5: (-1, -5)

2: y = 2-4 = -2 (2, -2)

3: y = 3-4 = -1 (3, -1)
