Question 61033: Write the equation of the line that passes through point (–4, 19) with a slope of –6.
Answer by funmath(2933)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Write the equation of the line that passes through point (–4, 19) with a slope of –6.
There are a couple of ways to do this, but whenever I'm given a slope and a point, I like to use the point slope formula , m=slope, (x1,y1)=given point.
m=-6, (x1,y1)=(-4,19)

<--This is the slope intercept form of a line.
Happy Calculating!!!
