Question 61029: Alice sells lamps at craft fairs. she uses the function F(x)=25x-250 to project her profit for selling x lamps. How would I graph this function and identify the slope and y-intercept.
Answer by josmiceli(19441) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
F(x)=25x-250
y-intercept is F(0)
F(0) = 25*0 -250
F(0) = -250
y = mx + b is the slope-intercept formula
In this case, m = 25 which is slope
