Question 607704: How do I solve 5x-y=9 ?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve for y to get
5x-y=9
-y = 9 - 5x
-y = -5x + 9
y = -5x/(-1) + 9/(-1)
y = 5x - 9
So after solving for y, we get y = 5x - 9
