Question 604478: find the x and y intercepts of the graph of the equation y= 2/3x -4
Answer by lawdej(58)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
to find x intercept put y=0 in y= 2/3x -4
0=2/3x-4
2/3x=4
2x=12
x=6
so x intercept is 6
to find y intercept put x=0 in y= 2/3x -4
y= 2/3 *0 -4
y=-4
so y intercept is -4
