Answer by Earlsdon(6294)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve by elimination:
1) 5x - y = 6 Multiply this equation -2
2) 10x - 2y = 12
1a) -10x + 2y = -12 Now add this to equation 2)
2) 10x - 2y = 12 The result!
0 = 0
The two equations represent the same line so there are an inifinite number of solutions.
