Graph this equation:
y = -2x + 2
Let x=0 and solve for y
y=-2(0)+2
y=0+2
y=2 Plot (0,2)
Now let x=1 and solve for y
y=-2(1)+2
y=-2+2
y=0 Plot (1,0)
You plot as many points as your teacher asks for, but it's only necessary to plot two points and connect them to make a line. All other points you plot will lie on that line.
