Question 5827: write the equation in standard form:
(2-3x)/y = 5
This is what I came up with:
y = 5(2-3x)
y = 10 - 15x
Any help would be great. Thank you!

First, "y=10-15x" isn't in standard form.

Mutliply the "5" by the "y". Therefore, we can eliminate the "y" in the denominator.

2-3x = 5y

Ax + By = C (this is standard form)

3x + 5y = 2
