(3-5)/(5+3)
-2/8
-1/4 OR -.25 NOW WE USE THIS AS THE m VALUE IN THE STANDARD LINE FORMULAR
Y=mX+b
Y=-.25X+b NOW WE SUBSTITE EITH SET OF POINTS FOR X & Y
5=-.25*-3+b & SOLVE FOR b
5=.75+b
5-.75=b
b=4.25
THUS WE HAVE
Y=-.25X+4.25
