Question 577728: How can I find the slope of the line parallel to the line that passes through the following points. (4,0) and (3.8, 2)
Answer by sEahors3(6) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
since the lines are parallel than they have the same slope
all you need to do is find the slope of the first line
now the slope equation if given two points on the line is
so you just substitute in the y's and the x's
and to be honest with you that result sounds weird to me so i would double check
hope this helped
