Find the Intercepts of the Equations graph. Then graph the answer
-x + 3y = -9
=========================
At the y-int, y = 0, and vice versa.
------
-x + 3y = -9
x = 0 --> 3y = -9
y = -3
The point is (0,-3) the y-intercept.
------
-x + 3y = -9
y = 0 --> -x = -9
x = 9
The point is (9,0)
============================
There's no answer. Every point on the graph is a solution, a pair of x & y values that fit the equation.
There are an infinite # of "answers."
----------
To graph it, plot the 2 points and draw a line thru them.
