Question 57489: Find the slope and y-intercept.
x = –7
Answer by funmath(2933) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
This is a trick question. This is a special case. Any time you have x=k, where k is a real number, and there is no y you have a vertical line going through k.
Vertical lines have undefined slopes.
x=0 can BE the y-axis, but no vertical line can cross the y-axis.
:
Find the slope and y-intercept.
