How do you get the equation y=-2(x+8)^2+9 in standard form
FOIL (x+8)(x+8)
y = -2(x^2 + 8x + 8x + 64) + 9
y = -2(x^2 + 16x + 64) + 9
y = -2x^2 - 32x - 128 + 9
y = -2x^2 - 32x - 119
