I need to graph using the intercept method: 2x + y = 4

Hi Lyn,
I have used the draw feature of word for graphing and you can google graph paper and find sites with graphing feature as well as graph paper that you can cut and paste. I don't know if this will help but, I'll graph it for you.

graph using the intercept method: 2x + y = 4
:
Let x=0 and solve for y, this is the y-intercept.
2(0)+y=4
y=4
Plot (0,4)
Let y=0 and solve for x, this is your x-intercept.
2x+(0)=4
2x=4
2x/2=4/2
x=2
Plot (2,0)
Connect the points and you have a line that looks like:
