Graph the equation
x+6=-5
x+6-6=-5-6
x=-11
This is either a point on the number line at -11:

-13,-12,-11,-10,-9,-8,-7,-6,-5,-4,-3,-2,-1,0,1,2
Or it is a vertical line going through x=-11, I can't show vertical lines in this program, but it would be a line going up and down through -11.
