FIND THE SLOPE OF THE LINE PASSING THROUGH THE POINTS (3,-2) AND (5,-4)
The formula for slope when given two points is:
where m=slope, (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) are the given points.
Happy Calculating!!!
Answer by zakko(1) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
P(3,-2) Q(5,-4)
Q-P= (5,-4) - (3,-2)
= (2,-2)
therefore, the slope is 2/-2 = -(2/2)= -1
